We give AI real budgets. Then we check every number.

Cents and Code is a YouTube channel about money and AI for American households. Each episode runs one experiment on public data, and every figure on screen traces back to a named source.

Numbers from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Federal Reserve, the FDIC, the USDA and Consumer Reports.

How we keep it honest

AI is fast and confident, and sometimes wrong. These are the rules every video follows.

Real data, cited

Every number comes from a named public source: the BLS, the Federal Reserve, the FDIC and others. The links are in each video's description.

AI suggests, we check

The AI proposes the cuts. We redo the math and compare it with the original source before it goes on screen. When the AI gets something wrong, we show it.

AI is labeled

The narration uses an AI voice and some b-roll is AI-generated. Every video carries YouTube's altered or synthetic content label.

Education, not advice

We show the math so you can make your own call. We're not financial advisers, and nothing here is a recommendation for your situation.

Run the audit on your numbers

These are the six cuts from episode 1. Every field starts with the U.S. average we used in the video. Type your own numbers and the receipt updates. Nothing you type leaves this page.
